【解説】 「…はどうだった？」と様子をたずねるときには "How was ...?" や "How were ...?" を使います。今の様子を聞きたければ、"How is ...?" や "How are ...?" です。これらは、「元気ですか？」という意味でも使えます。

【解説】 stay awakeは、fall asleepしないこと。目の覚めた状態でい続けることです。stay upとも言います。「私が…する番」はmy turn to...というかたちで表現します。 turnは広いイメージを持つ言葉。クルッと回るのもターンなら、競泳で方向を変えるのもターンです。順番も「回ってくる」からでしょう、turnと言います。ゲームをやっているときも、My turn. / Your turn.をよく使います。
