昨夜祇園祭の目玉、山鉾巡行の３日前の夜祭に行ってきた。
本番の夜祭は今日、明日で、四条通りが歩行者天国になるのだが、それ以上に人が多すぎて楽しむどころではない。
この日は一番人気の長刀鉾ですらゆっくりみることができた。
祇園祭りはこういう日に楽しむに限る。
Last night I went to the night festival three days before the Yamaboko procession, the highlight of the Gion Festival.
The main night festival is today and tomorrow, and Shijo Street will be for pedestrian only, but there were too many people to enjoy it.
On this day, I was able to take my time to see even the most popular float, Naginata-hoko.
Gion Festival is best enjoyed on a day like this.
