昨日電子書籍リーダーのKindle Paperwhiteで文藝春秋２月号を購入した。購入は簡単で「購入」をタッチすれば瞬時に「ご購入ありがとうございました」がでて、読み始めることができる。
最近私は視力が衰えて小さな活字は読めなくなった。電子書籍リーダーなら文字を好みの大きさにして読むことができる。それ故最近はKindleでの読書が多い。
私は数年前、ゴガクルでの学習と並行して、Ernest Hemingwayの“The Old Man and the Sea”と“A Farewell to Arms”を読んでみたが、続けてもう少し彼の作品を読んでみようと思う。今度は電子書籍で。
先日私は“For Whom the Bell Tolls”をダウンロードした。
“Kindle Paperwhite”には、辞書が内蔵されていて、読みながら単語の意味をワンタッチで確認できるので、英語の図書を読む場合など楽である。
Ernest Hemingwayの文章は簡潔で力強い。少しでも真似たいものである。
