　　電線にインコ

It is forbidden by the rules of the ascetics' order to disclose
details of this mountain to other people.I will therefore lay down
my pen and write no more.
When I returned to the temple,at the abbot's request I wrote
on poem-cards the verses I had composed during my pilgrimage to
the three mountains.

How cool it is here----
A crescent moon faintly hovers
Over Mount Haguro.

The peaks of clouds
Have crumbled into fragments----
The moonlit mountain!

I cannot speak of
Yudono,but see how wet
My sleeve is with tears.

Yudono Mountain----
As I tread on pilgrims' coins,
Behold these my tears. Sora


惣て、此山中の微細、行者の法式として他言する事を禁
ず。仍て筆をとどめて記さず。坊に帰れば、阿闍梨の需に依て、三山順
礼の句々短冊に書。
　

　　涼しさやほの三日月の羽黒山

　　雲の峰幾つ崩て月の山

　　語られぬ湯殿にぬらす袂かな

　　湯殿山銭ふむ道の泪かな　　　　曾良
