I’m sensitive to cold. I've been coming down with a cold for the last few days.
I can't get rid of my cold now.
Snow fell silently and lay 20 centimeters deep on the ground this morning.
The roads are really icy. Road conditions are hazardous due to ice.
It has taken me all morning to shovel the snow outside my house.
So I got super tired and had stiff shoulders. I hate this kind of weather.

I'm going to stay in this afternoon because it's been raining like cats and dogs.

I almost forgot (it). （もう少しで忘れるところだった）
We live in the present. （今を大切にして生きる）
Seize the day. （今日をつかめ、今日を楽しめ）
I had such a productive afternoon.　　（実に充実した午後を送ることができました）
