【Today's diary - Tuesday July 12 】
「どこにいくのかな?」
「というより なにから逃げているかが 問題よ」
I saw these words at one of the short column
in Asahi-newspaper yesterday.
(Oriori-no-kotoba by Seiichi Washida)
It is quoted by the Moomin books.
Washida says that people often tern their eyes on
where to go,but generally they only escape from somewhere.
It was impressive for me.
I also may escape from somewhere by studying English.

【 Kiso-eigo3 Lesson50 】
T:Doug,I heard that volunteering is very popular
in America.Is that true?
D:Yes,Mr.Takagi.Lots of people like to give back to
their community.
T:That is very inspiring. What have you done?
What activities are common?
D:Well,my family built houses one time.
I really liked painting the houses,so I volunteered
at a children's center.
I painted a mural on one of its walls.
A:Did you meet the people you were helping?
D:Of course! I played basketball with the children.
It made them happy.
A:You have done so much.
Don't you shink so,Yukichi?
Y:Yes,he's great...
