復習その二日目。今回のキーワードは四つ、ruin / discrimination / manager / shoulder 。
ruin
名詞：「遺跡、廃墟(ruins : 通例、複数形)」= remains
動詞：「だいなしにする」「破滅させる」

名詞shoulder を使った面白い表現。（決して面白くはなかった...）
cold shoulder 「冷たい態度、冷遇」 （frozen shoulder と凍ってしまうと「四十肩」の意味に）
She gave me the cold shoulder.　なんかよそよそしい態度をされたときに。
chip on one's shoulder 「けんか腰」
