今回のニュースのように輸送に支障をきたすこともそうですし、
河口付近への海水逆流による生態系への懸念も報道されています。
一つの現象が引き起こす結末は、一つとは限らない。

逆に、一つの現象を引き起こす理由も一つではないようです。
昔の「ニュースで英会話」のニュースでは、ドナウ川の物流停滞の原因は「寒波」でした。
「熱波・干ばつ」ではミシシッピ川の、「寒波による凍結」ではドナウ川の物流が停滞しちゃうんですね。

ちなみに北極海の氷面積縮小がこのまま続くと、「北極海」を経由する海上輸送を利用して輸送コストを削減できるのではという話もあるようです。
