Japanese tennis star Osaka Naomi has won the women's singles title at the Australian Open for the second time.
Osaka, currently ranked third in the world, faced 24th-ranked American Jennifer Brady in Melbourne on Saturday.
Osaka beat Brady in two straight sets to claim her fourth women's singles Grand Slam. Osaka won the US Open in 2018 and 2020, and the Australian tournament in 2019.
Osaka had a 2-1 edge over Brady in previous face-offs. Last year, she beat Brady at the US Open semifinals.
In Saturday's match, Osaka broke Brady's serves with powerful strokes, taking the first set 6-4.
In the second set, Osaka grabbed two service-breaks from the start and won four games straight, clinching the set 6-3.
