動物への愛と奇跡　　　
Just a few Drops ほんの数滴

　Minutes after he disappeared into the woods, he came running back
toward the house.

I went back to making lunch thinking that whatever
he had been doing was done.

But soon. he was again walking in that slow, careful way toward the woods.
This went for a while: walking carefully to the woods,
running back to the house.

　I slipped out of the house and followed him.
I was very careful not to be seen.

He had both hands cupped in front of him as he walked
and was being very careful not to drop what he held in his tiny hands.
Tree branches hit his little face but he did not try to avoid them.

Then I saw several large deer standing in front of him.
