Thailand to turn all tuk-tuks into EVs by 2022

The Thai government has disclosed a plan to have all tuk-tuk taxis run on electricity by 2022. The three-wheelers are widely popular with Thais and tourists.

Experts: Sketch may have been done by da Vinci

French art experts say a sketch of a nude woman may have been done by Leonardo Vinci in preparation for his masterpiece, the Mona Lisa.

The charcoal sketch of a nude woman from the waist up, know as the Monna Vanna, was previously attributed to one of his students.

The experts say several clues indicate da Vinci drew the sketch to plan for the Monna Lisa. They point to similar technique in the two pieces, and the almost identical position of the arms.

They say the sketch is almost the same size as the Mona Lisa, and small holes around the figure may have been used to trace its form onto a canvas.

But the experts say they need to do more research. They say some hatching on the sketch was done by a right-handed person, though da Vinci was left-handed.

中学レベルの英文法を基本から復習する 名詞の文法
名詞形を選ぶ
〇リンゴをひとつください。Give me an apple.
〇リンゴをたくさん買ってきてね。Be sure to buy a lot of apples.
〇（みじん切りにした）リンゴをカレーに入れよう。
Let’s put some apple in the curry.
※日本語では対象が丸ごとのリンゴでも、複数個のりんごでも、みじん切りしたリンゴでも、リンゴはリンゴです。英語ではan apple とapples、apple の３つの名詞形を使います。固体としてのリンゴだと、an apple で、リンゴの形をとどめないとapple になります。対象が違えば、名詞形（noun form）が違うということです。さらに、the を使うかどうかも名詞形の問題（冠詞の問題）に含まれますが、これは対象のありようではなく、聞き手との情報共有の問題です。つまり、相手と共有できる場合はthe apple あるいはthe apples のようにthe の付いた名詞形を使います。
冠詞と名詞の可算形・不可算形
不定冠詞indefinite article という。an apple とは「あるリンゴ」であってどの本かを特定しない。「a + 名詞」が指す対象はひとつです。複数の対象を特定化しない場合はapples のように複数形にします。
定冠詞definite article 特定化した共有可能な対象
the apple といえば、相手と共有可能な情報としてのリンゴが一つということです。複数のリンゴなら、the apples です。
「a + 名詞形」と「ゼロ0 + 名詞」
数えられる名詞（可算名詞）an apple、apples、the apple、the apples
数えられない名詞（不可算名詞）apple、the apple
※前に述べたようにan apple とapple は違った名詞形です。
