It was a record showing for the TV series “Shogun” at the Emmy Awards in the U.S.
TVシリーズ「将軍」が米国のエミー賞で史上最多の受賞数になった。

The samurai drama set in Japan collected 18 Emmys, including the prize for best drama.
日本での侍ドラマ(時代劇)はベストドラマ賞も含め史上最多のエミー賞18部門受賞。

Shogun's tally at the ceremony on Sunday was the most ever for a TV series in a single season.
