In France children will put one foot into a circle and one of the child will sing a song while pointing randomly on his friend's feet until the song is finished. The last foot the child pointed will be designated and the person will join the team the game was initiated for. We call that game: "Am-stram-gram" The song goes like this:

The lyrics do not mean anything in French and usually children also invent their own little song, but this might be the oldest and the most famous.
