resolveは「解決する」です。solveも同じような意味ですが、こちらは数学の問題やクイズを解くなど、方法や答えがはっきりしているときに使うことが多く、resolveはもっと広い意味で「（紛争、論争、困りごとなどを）解決する」というニュアンス
