おぼえた日記
My son is a night owl. So I said to him before I'm going to work, "If you sit up late, Santa won't come. " When I came home from work around 10 o'clock at night, I found him fast asleep with his stocking near his pillow. It is the stocking for Christmas which he sewed by himself when he was in the kindergarden.

息子は夜型人間。 だから仕事に行く前に私は言った。 「夜更かししてるとサンタさん来ないよ。」 夜１０時頃仕事から帰ったら、息子はぐっすり眠っていた。 枕元に靴下置いて。 幼稚園のとき、自分で縫ったクリスマス用の靴下だ。

My handmade cake was delicious though it doesn't look beautiful.
I cut the cake into three slices and put custard cream and whipped cream and strawberries and bananas between the slices.
Everyone loved it.
I myself burst into laughter at the sight of his sleeping with his stocking at his pillow.
I put some sweets in the stocking and put a box which was a fancy muffler he had wanted for a few months. He's fashion-conscious.
I was glad to see his delighted face this morning.
