I hope so. A long queue, isn't it? Everybody's flocking to the cakes. They're from Patisserie Madeleine, a famous local brand.

アンディさんは、どこを拠点にされていますか。ハリソンズの本社は、バーミンガムでしたよね。

Yes, our headquarters is in Birmingham, but the purchasing division is centralized in London So I'm based here.
そう、本社はバーミンガムです。仕入れ部門は、ロンドンに統合されています。ですので、わたしの拠点はここです。

I see. May I ask what kind of products you handle?
なるほど。どんな商品を取り扱っているかお伺いしてもよろしいですか。

I'm in charge of purchasing Asian food, mainly from China and Thailand.
アジアの食品の仕入れを担当しています。おもに、中国やタイからです。

That's interesting. Do you import Japanese food too?
それは興味深いです。日本の食品も輸入されていますか。

Of course. We import seasonings such as soy sauce and mirin.
もちろん。しょうゆやミリンといった、調味料を輸入していますよ。
