Ich habe meinen Vater besucht. Ich habe ihn Nikujaga genommen. Seine Rosen haben scho geblühen. Es hat gut gerochen. Zum Mittagsessen habe ich Rindereintopf gekocht. Lecker, lecker!
I took the first bus to Hiratsuka Station, and went to my father's house. As usual, I took nikujaga which I had cooked last night with me, so that he could eat when he doesn't want to cook by himself. On the way to his house, I found four-leave clovers. It will make my day lucky. The roses in his yard started blooming. Their sweet fragrance was wafting in the air. I cooked beef stew for lunch. It was delicious. We chatted and laughed a lot. On my way home, I was spaced out and left my bag on the shelf in the train. I noticed it after a while. Oh, noooooo! The spinach and leafy lettuce from my father's veggie garden were in it. I rushed to the station office and told about it. The clerk gave me a small piece of paper, and told me to call that number on the paper, which was no help to me. I was disappointed. I went back to the platform and looked for a station attedant. There were almost no station attendants to ask on the platform. At last, I managed to find one. I told him about my situation. Then, he was kind enough to tell me the exact time when the train would come back to Ueno Station. After one and a half hour, the train came back to Ueno Station with my bag on the shelf. Thank God! I got it back! I hurried to the platform of Tokaido Line. The train was there, but the door closed just in front of me. I could do nothing but wait for the next one. At Yokohama Station, I heard that one of the passengers mobile battery smoked in the train which ran ahead of the one I took, and it stopped between Yokohama and Totsuka Station. Because of that, we were forced to wait about more than 30 minutes in the train. It was around 9 o'clock when I arrived home. I was exhausted. At first, I thought it wasn't my day, but come to think of it, I was lucky to get back my bag full of fresh veggies. Plus, I had a narrow escape from the happening on the train because I had missed the train at Ueno Station. Thank God I wasn't involved the smoke in the train! Thanks to the four-leave clover, everything turned all right to me. It was a good day. All's well that ends well.
have a narrow escape
間一髪で免れた
All's end that ends well.

It must have been a long day. "All’s well that ends well." but be careful not to misplace it.
