飼い主がリッチなほど、地位が高い。

「私の知っている彼は、いつも賢く、注意深い犬でした。」
He is the most able dog I've ever known.
「彼は私の知るかぎりもっとも有能な犬です。」
紹介されるフレーズも主人公は犬のようです。

○ There's no need to be afraid.
こわがることはないのよ。

There's no need 「いいのよ」「いいんだよ」のニュアンス。
You don't have to 「わざわざしないでいいのよ」「それには及びませんよ」とこちらは相手が「しなくちゃ」と思っていることを制するときに使うのが一般 的とのこと。
