Ach, du liebe Zeit! Sonntag ist schon weg. Ich hätte sehr gern ein kaltes Glass Bier. Aber ich muss darauf verzichten. Denn ich mache eine Diät.
J'ai envie de boire de la bière fraîche. Mais, je me passerai de boire ce soir. J'ai décide de faire un régime pour de bon.
First thing in the morning, I went to the veggie garden. I cut down corn stalks and cut them into pieces. I dug and dug the ground and burried them. They'll make good manure. After that, I started drying the rest of my pickled ume in our front yard. I feel happy and peaceful when I put ume on the sieve one by one, feeling that time went slowly. I love this momemt. Then, I went to a big bookshop in Fujisawa to buy some books for work. I dropped in at a bakery cafe on my way home, where I had sandwiches and coffee for lunch. I studied French for about two hours there. As soon as I came home, I went grocery shopping. I chilled out on futon for a while. The wind through the window was refreshing. The scent of umeboshi on the veranda wafted in the air. What a happy, relaxing moment! My precious Sunday wooshed by like this.

休日はあっという間に過ぎてしまうけれど、梅干しをひとつひとつざるに並べているときだけは、時間がゆっくり流れているような気がした。 この時間が好きだ。 夕方、ちょっとの間、布団でゴロゴロして過ごした。 窓越しに入ってくる涼しい風と梅干しの匂いに、幸せを感じた。
