Mon. Q: Does the sun set earlier in Japan or Minnesota during the summer?
ガイドのモンゾンとサラたちは、キャンプファイアーを囲んでいます
Monzong, Sarh and her friends surround a camp fire.
they can see the Sun. Monzon says it doesn’t get dark until 9 p.m. Tsutomu says it gets dark befor seven thirty for the main part in Japan and adds that but it gets dark ealier in Minnesota in winter than in Japan. Monzon says let’s get some sleep because we’ll have a long day tomorrow.

Monzong says he is taking them to the place all of them’re a surprised.
Sarah asks Monzongh where they should go. But Monzong doesn’t answer, and he says it’s a secret. Pa and Sarah think Monzong is just like Mr. Rowland.
Ambar asks Monzong to surprise them.

Wed. Q: Why is Gary successful?

Sarah and her friends is walking in the Aidasca State Park.
Amber seems much tired par says they’re almost there.
Sarah asks Monzong about Gary. Monzong answers when he wanted to show Minnesota and Hmong culture to the world, Gary said him to be a tour guide. Gary gave him great advice. Monzong said Gary’s always been humble, that’a the reason for his success.
A: Because he’s been humble.

Thu. Q: Where does the Mississippi River end.

thought what’s so surprising about that.
That pillar shows the starting point of the Mississippi River/

〇NEWS Hawking says Trump's climate stance could damage Earth
[BBC,2 July 2017]　（抜粋）

Stephen Hawking says that US President Donald Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris climate agreement could lead to irreversible climate change.
"We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. Trump's action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of two hundred and fifty degrees, and raining sulphuric acid," he told BBC News.
スティーブン・ホーキング博士は英BBCのインタビューに対し、「地球温暖化が引き返せない臨界点に迫っており、トランプ大統領の決定は地球をこの臨界点へと推し進め、地球の温度は金星と同じように250度に達し、硫酸の雨が降るようになる」と語った。

"Climate change is one of the great dangers we face, and it's one we can prevent if we act now. By denying the evidence for climate change, and pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, Donald Trump will cause avoidable environmental damage to our beautiful planet, endangering the natural world, for us and our children."
ホーキング博士は、「気候変動は私たちが直面する非常に大きな危険の１つだが、私たちが今行動すれば阻止できる可能性はある」「しかし、トランプ大統領は気候変動の証拠を否定し、『パリ協定』からの離脱を表明した。これは、避けられたはずの我々と子供たちの美しい地球の環境破壊を促し、自然に害を及ぼすことになる。」と話した。

When asked whether he felt we would ever solve our environmental problems and resolve human conflicts, Prof Hawking was pessimistic, saying that he thought our days on Earth were numbered.
"I fear evolution has inbuilt greed and aggression to the human genome. There is no sign of conflict lessening, and the development of militarised technology and weapons of mass destruction could make that disastrous. The best hope for the survival of the human race might be independent colonies in space."
「環境問題と人類の衝突を解決することは可能か」という質問に対し、ホーキング博士は「衝突が減少する兆しはない。科学技術の軍事化と殺傷力のある武器の大規模な発展は災難をもたらすことになる。人類生存の最大の希望は宇宙の植民地かもしれない」と悲観的な態度を示した。
